QAnon

A myth claiming a secret elite controls the United States.

QAnon (or simply Q) is a popular conspiracy theory in far-right circles. It originated in the U.S. but gained traction in Germany during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first posts appeared in October 2017, allegedly written by someone with “Q Clearance” – the highest level of access at the U.S. Department of Energy.According to the theory, former President Trump was secretly fighting a deep state and an elite pedophile ring.

The theory goes even further: Followers claim that children are kidnapped, murdered in underground camps, and used to extract a life-extending substance called adrenochrome. They believe this ring is supported by prominent figures, bankers, and political elites.

QAnon also borrows from older conspiracy myths – especially the Jewish world conspiracy It claims that world leaders are mere puppets of a hidden, global power.

Q supporters frequently reinterpret major events like the pandemic to fit their worldview – giving them constant visibility and influence, even outside the U.S.Their activities span both online forums and real-life rallies, making QAnon a dynamic and interactive conspiracy movement.
